Every year, SABIS® schools around the world graduate students who are well-prepared and equipped with the skills they need to succeed at university and in life well beyond that. This summer’s commencement ceremonies were particularly special for a number of schools that graduated their first-ever cohort of students.

In China, SABIS® ULINK graduates celebrated the end of their school life and their acceptances to leading universities around the world including Imperial College and King’s College in the U.K., Georgia Institute of Technology, Ohio State, and The University of California in the U.S., The University of Melbourne in Australia, and The University of Hong Kong, to name a few.

For CADMUS® International School in Duhok, Kurdistan, the event marked a historical moment as it celebrated its very first cohort, who are also the very first graduating class of the entire CADMUS® Network of schools.

Addressing the audience, SABIS® Chairman Carl Bistany wished the graduates all the success and took the opportunity to comment on the importance of the CADMUS® concept of schools: “Our vision was born from a firm belief that education is the greatest equalizer in society. Only education has the power to level the playing field by ensuring that all students, not just the very fortunate, have access to university and to the increasingly competitive job market.”

The International School of Choueifat – Umm Al Quwain in the U.A.E. also held its very first commencement ceremony in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud Al Mualla, the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.

Celebrations at SABIS® International School – Costa Verde in Panama, SABIS® International School – Runda in Kenya, and The International School of Choueifat – Ajman in the U.A.E. were equally special in the presence of family and friends.

We wish all 2,500+ SABIS® graduates this year a future of success and lifelong learning!
