SABIS® schools around the world offer students an enriching music curriculum that positively impacts their academic performance, assists in developing their social skills, and provides an outlet for their creativity that is crucial to their development.

Starting in the early years, and right through to graduation, the music curriculum teaches students to read notes, allows them to explore a range of musical instruments, and develop their voices and singing techniques.

The SABIS® Book Series includes a Music series that accompanies students throughout school as well as music posters and flashcards for classrooms.

Alongside the enriching music curriculum, schools organize musical activities and performances.  At ISF International School Frankfurt Rhein-Main, a SABIS® school in Germany, students learn to appreciate music in all its forms from Preschool all the way through to graduation. The school holds several musical events throughout the year, including the much-anticipated annual Sommerfest, winter concert, and Salon concerts. Musical Friday is a weekly event on the SABIS® International School in Runda, Kenya calendar. The school sets up various instruments and a microphone after the lunch break, and students are invited to walk up and play an instrument or sing a song. Teachers and staff are also there to lend a helping hand and support the students.
