Put on hold in most parts of the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, commencement ceremonies were finally back this year! We have selected a few for you from around the SABIS^® network.

In the U.A.E., SABIS^® International School – Yas Island held its first ever commencement ceremony since its foundation in 2015. The event was held in the school theater under the patronage of Her Excellency Shamma Bint Suhail Fares al Mazrui, U.A.E. Minister of State for Youth.

Her Excellency addressed the Class of 2022, congratulated them on their special day, and reminded them of the importance of faith, perseverance, commitment, and hard work to reach their goals. A SABIS^® alumna herself, she emphasized the benefits of being a SABIS^® graduate: “The SABIS^® system taught me how to swim. It taught me the rules of the game, the method, and the mindset.”

In Lebanon, the International School of Choueifat – Choueifat, the International School of Choueifat – Koura, SABIS^® International School – Adma, and the Leila C. Saad SABIS^® School El Metn all held ceremonies despite the difficult times the country is going through. 

In the U.S., the International School of Minnesota celebrated its Class of 2022 with a joyful event on campus.

In Germany, the International School Frankfurt Rhein-Main held the commencement ceremony for its 57 graduates at the prestigious Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
