This spring, SABIS® successfully earned a seven-year re-accreditation from leading academic accreditation bodies Ai Accreditation International (Ai) and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). The accreditation process is an important one as it paves the way for all SABIS® Network schools to pursue and maintain accreditation, providing them with international
recognition of school quality, accountability, and validation of the presence of an effective, continuous improvement process.
The re-accreditation was awarded based on a thorough review of SABIS®’ self-study as well as presentations and meetings with key individuals on SABIS®’ academic curriculum, use of technology to enhance the learning process, accountability across the organization, and commitment to student well-being. This assisted the accreditation team to objectively form an understanding of SABIS® ability to fulfill Ai’s 12 Accreditation Standards for Corporations.
Based on the information gained through the self-study and virtual site visit, the visiting accreditation team commended SABIS® on its “strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement” as well as its “ongoing efforts to enhance and refine its systems in alignment with current best practices in education”. The team also commended SABIS®’s technology strategy, commenting that: “Artificial intelligence is strategically integrated to enhance SABIS®’ educational programs while ensuring that both teachers and students use AI as a tool to support efficiency and optimize learning rather than replace instructional practices”.
