In the wake of the devastating earthquake that hit Türkiye and Syria in February, the Student Life Organization in SABIS^® schools in the region and beyond launched campaigns to collect donations to help ease the suffering of the millions of survivors that were impacted.

Students collected food, blankets, diapers, sleeping bags, and flashlights which they donated to reputable charitable organizations and government entities working on providing disaster relief to the victims. 

From Azerbaijan, to Kurdistan, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, U.A.E., and even the U.S., these are some photos of our students’ amazing work!

Thank you to our schools for teaching our students how to make a difference in their communities and help those who are less fortunate than themselves. Through involvement in community service activities such as these, our students are truly learning the value of becoming active, responsible global citizens.
