A huge congratulations to our students at SABIS® International School – Ruwais for their remarkable achievement in the Abu Dhabi Global Future Mobility Challenge which took place on March 18, 2023, on Al Hudayriat Island. The SIS-Ruwais team won 2nd place and was awarded 3 prestigious awards for fastest qualifying time, best car workmanship award, and best photo/social media campaign.
SABIS® International School – Ruwais and the International School of Choueifat – Al Ain, two SABIS® schools in the U.A.E., participated in the Electric Vehicle Grand Prix alongside 500 students from 21 high schools in the U.A.E., the U.S., and Italy.
The vehicles were built by the students themselves as part of the STEAM program in our Gulf schools. You can hear all about our students’ experience in this video:
