Every five years, SABIS® schools around the world go through a meticulous re-accreditation cycle with Ai Accreditation International (Ai), a global accrediting body that seeks to enhance the educational dynamics of the 21st century and increase effective student outcomes.  To provide even greater scope and perspective, Ai co-accredits SABIS® schools with the Middle States Association – Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS).

By gaining accreditation, SABIS® schools can enjoy the benefits of international recognition of school quality, accountability, and validation of the presence of an effective, continuous improvement process. In turn, parents can rest assured that they are choosing a school that meets all international standards for their children.

This year (2022), a number of schools in the network were up for re-accreditation. And following an extensive evaluation process that was conducted virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all were awarded international recognition by successfully fulfilling Ai’s Accreditation Standards for Schools.

Associate Executive Director of Ai, Mr. Jesse Haines, commented: “SABIS® schools continue to deliver quality programs that address both the academic and non-academic needs of each child’s educational journey whilst being fully emerged in an international environment with caring and passionate educators.”
